An Overview on Fault Detection and Isolation Strategies of Flexible DC Distribution Networks

摘要:
随着技术的发展,柔性直流配电网将成为智能电网和能源互联网的关键组成部分,但保护技术的不成熟一定程度上限制了其应用.结合国内外对其保护技术相关方面的研究做了以下工作:首先,简述了柔性直流配电系统关键设备VSC换流器和直流变压器的控制策略,分析了适用于柔性直流配电系统的多端协调控制策略.然后,介绍了系统交流侧不对称故障和直流侧单极接地与极间短路情况下的故障特征,并分析了系统接地方式对故障特性的影响.随后,对其故障隔离手段和故障检测、识别原理进行了综述,简要分析了各种原理的优缺点.最后,列举了柔性直流配电系统保护技术所要重点关注和研究的问题.
Abstract:
With the development of technology,the flexible DC power distribution network (FDCPDN) will be one ofthe key parts of the smart grid and energy internet.Nevertheless,the extensive application of the FDCPDN has been limited by the immature protection technology.This paper has referred to the research both at home and board,main contents of this article are as follows:firstly,this paper introduces the control strategies of the key devices of flexible DC power distribution system such as VSC converter and DC transformer,as well as the multi-terminal coordination control strategies that apply to flexible DC distribution power system.Then,it analyzes the fault characteristics of FDCPDN about its AC side unsymmetrical faults and DC side pole-to-ground and pole-to-pole faults,the impact of the network grounding mode to the fault characteristics is analyzed as well.After that,the fault isolation technology,fault detection and identification methods are summarized.In addition,the advantage and disadvantage of the methods are also analyzed.Finally,key points in terms of the FDCPDN protection technology are presented in this paper.
